New Ownership

Hi!

On May 8th 2023, my family and I started a new chapter in our life by purchasing Lodges of the Lakes. I want to thank Fred Hegel - the previous owner - for all the great work that he did for many years with Lodges and for building a loyal customer base.

How did we decide to do this? That’s a long story, to be told over a nice bottle of red wine, and available to anyone who asks (and provides the wine).

We are now two months into it and finally launch this new web site as one of our many goals for the business. Those goals are:

• Delight our customers with premium accommodation and great Central Wisconsin hospitality

• Modernize the business as much as possible to make it easier for guests to book with us

• Continue to personally handle bookings for anyone who wants to book by phone (866 4-Lodges) or email (lodgesofthelakes@outlook.com)

Thus far our progress has been:

• implementation of a cloud based reservation system including on-line bookings

• Integration with all expedia booking sites

• Better results on google search

• This new web site!
